Cody Rhodes continues to gain support in the aftermath of the February 2 episode of WWE SmackDown.
On Friday night, Cody Rhodes announced that he would not be facing Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. Instead, he brought out The Rock, who stared down “The Head of the Table” as the show came to an end. As a result, the stage is seemingly set for a major WrestleMania match between The Rock and Reigns.
This outcome has upset many of Rhodes’ fans, so much so that they got the hashtag “We got Cody” trending on Twitter. Several noteworthy names have shown their support for the movement.
In a tweet, popular comedian and actor Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias retweeted the “We Want Cody” hashtag. Iglesias, a known wrestling fan, included a picture of himself standing with Cody in the post.
Perhaps even more unexpected, WWE United States Champion Logan Paul took to Twitter/X to show his support by writing, “We want Cody.”
